Chiropractic Education

Dr Melinda smiling Inspired by her desire to help people live their happiest, healthiest lives, Dr Melinda Ricci completed a 5-year, double bachelor’s degree in Chiropractic Science at Murdoch University, as well as a 2-year postgraduate research degree where she was awarded first-class honours. Dr Melinda has additional training as a Massage Therapist and Level 3 Sports Trainer and has completed all advanced modules in Dry Needling (acupuncture), Rehabilitative Ultrasound and Chiropractic Paediatrics.

As well as her experience as a practising chiropractor, Dr Melinda has spent 8 years as a University Clinical Educator and is very passionate about teaching the next generation of chiropractors.

Certifications and Awards

Dr Melinda is certified in Dry Needling Acupuncture and Chiropractic Paediatrics and has completed a Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety. She has been the recipient of the Australian Chiropractor’s Association Student Choice Award, the Murdoch University Riptide Award and more recently has received the prestigious Australian Chiropractor of the Year award at the 2018 Australian Allied Health Awards held in Brisbane.

Patient-Centred Care

Dr Melinda is an experienced and successful chiropractor, having owned and operated Success Chiropractic in Cockburn since 2011.

She moved to the property in Whitby in 2021 and is excited to offer her expertise in providing patient-centred, multi-modal chiropractic care to the local Serpentine-Jarrahdale community.

Offering care for a diverse range of patients aged one day to one hundred years old, Dr Melinda has a special interest in paediatrics, geriatrics, chronic spinal pain, headaches and migraines. Our Whitby clinic also boasts the only Raphael spinal decompression table in Western Australia, allowing us to provide care for patients with severe disc issues or severe arthritis,and for those who have had spinal surgery.

Away from the Practice

When Dr Melinda isn’t helping patients, she enjoys spending time with family, working on her farm and breeding miniature goats.
